Let’s go guys! Who’s excited for another weekend of Premier League football? Yeah? Me too, we have ten exciting games to look forward to, so without further ado let’s get into it :
Friday Night Football is back! And we have an exciting game between two teams who won last time out. The Saints beat Sheffield Utd 0-1 and the Cherries beat Everton 3-1 in an impressive victory.
For me this one will be tight with few chances, i’m going to give the edge to Southampton though, Bournemouth haven’t been amazing away from home and Southampton have one defeat at home this season and that was a hard fought game against Liverpool. That’s why I am going for a 2-1 win to the home side.
Really looking forward to this one, I think it’s going to be an open attacking game with lots of chances. The combined strike force of these two teams is really something special.
Leicester are undefeated at home this season, but Spurs have really had they’re scoring boots on this season, scoring 13 goals in 5 games, for that reason I am giving Spurs the slight edge but expect an open game with lots of goals.
I am going for an ambitious 2-3 to the Spurs.
Well, Norwich are the team to beat so far this season, they have been immense, and Burnley, have only won the one game this season, and that was in Gameweek 1.
The hosts have been struggling for goals this season and it’s quite the opposite for their rivals, that’s why I think the Canaries are taking home all three points. A 1-2 score sounds about right to me.
This one for me is one of the clearest results of the weekend, even though Everton lost last week, they are not losing this one.
Sheffield United have been good at times, including picking up a point at Stamford Bridge but yeah, I don’t see an upset in this one. 3-1 to the hosts is my prediction.
This is the clearest game for me this weekend, look, I know City lost last week, but they are still the Premier League champions and betting on them to lose or draw at home to an injury filled Watford is a bold bet that I won’t be making. 4-0 for me on this one.
Newcastle have scored in every game this season, precisely one goal every game, very consistent and I don’t think that trend will break this weekend, and their rivals have an average of 1 goal a game so, guess what my prediction is?
It’s really fiting that I go for a 1-1 scoreline for this one, both teams have made below average starts for their standards and have been poor in front of goal. I don’t see either side scoring more than one.
High flying Wolves haven’t made a high flying start to this season. I’m not sure if Nino Espirito Santo has changed the tactics but it hasn’t worked so far.
Palace were destroyed last week by Spurs but I expect them to come out swinging for this one, with Wolves playing in the Europa League in the week I think they will be depleted and just give Palace the edge.
I’m going for a 2-1 win to the hosts for this one.
This is a tough game to call, West Ham have been decent this season, including holding on for 20 min with 10 men vs Villa on Monday, and with United playing in midweek I give the edge to the Hammers but it’s tight, my inital prediction was 1-1 but I’ve decided otherwise.
United’s defence hasn’t quite clicked this season, for that reason I’m going to go for a West Ham win. 2-1 for the hosts but very tight.
This one for me is quite straightforward, Villa looked so toothless in front of goal last week vs West Ham and with Arsenal’s impressive strike force you can bet on them scoring.
Sorry Villa fans but I don’t think you’re taking anything home from this one. 2-0 to the hosts.
Ladies and gentlemen it’s time for your main event!
This one will be a game of open attacking football, with both teams having lots of chances, they’re is one clear diference for me between the sides and his name is Virgil Van Dijk. Both teams have impressive attacks but Chelsea’s defence is suspect at best.
Tipping my hat to the Premier League leaders. 1-3 to the away side.
